Inside Sales Manager
Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Manager, you will spearhead the development and execution of lead generation strategies to drive business growth. This role combines leadership in inside sales with a strong focus on collaborating with the marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts. You will be responsible for building and managing lead generation efforts, aligning sales and marketing goals, and implementing effective lead generation strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Alignment
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align lead generation and sales strategies and goals.
- Provide input into the development of marketing campaigns with a specific focus on lead generation.
- Work with marketing to optimize messaging and materials for lead conversion.
Lead Generation Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to achieve and exceed lead acquisition targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in lead generation.
Marketing Support:
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted content and materials specifically designed for lead generation.
- Monitor and progress marketing qualified leads generated to sales qualified leads and monitor progression to win opportunities with sales.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline and optimize the inside sales process for efficient lead qualification and conversion.
- Implement sales methodologies and best practices tailored for lead generation.
- Continuously assess and improve lead generation tools, technologies, and systems.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation to track the team’s performance.
- Generate regular reports on lead generation metrics, trends, and forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on integrated data analysis.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach to lead generation.
- Collaborate with external partners to explore new opportunities for lead generation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inside sales management with a focus on lead generation, meeting or exceeding lead acquisition targets.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive lead generation decisions.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation technology.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
