SEO Specialist
Job Summary
The SEO Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to our website across all four regions (Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia). This role will involve developing and executing SEO strategies, creating and optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, monitoring and reporting on website performance, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
He/She will be exposed and is expected to understand the brand’s solutions and the marketing strategy to help in its implementation. He/ she should be capable of understanding SEO techniques that deliver outstanding results.
He/She must develop and implement an effective strategy to improve organic search ranking, drive traffic, engagement, and increase website inquiries.
He/She must be able to conduct a competitor analysis to help identify key competitors by industry, geography, keywords, content, and other relevant factors to improve our website performance.
He/She must work closely with the Territory and Technology Marketing team to drive SEO traffic in content creation through other digital marketing channels like blogs/articles
Digital & Content Responsibilities:
- Conduct website audit and develop and a comprehensive strategy to optimize the websites and identify technical issues across all four regions
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research per technology, per country, to identify high-potential keywords and phrases to increase website traffic
- Monitor keywords performance and make recommendations to improve average position in organic search
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for SEO-driven site
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks
- Monitor and manage link profiles to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines
- Work with Territory Marketing, Technology Marketing, and CMO to create SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategy
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or the likes, to track and analyze website performance
- Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO challenges to ensure optimal website performance
- Other SEO tasks and duties as assigned
Admin Responsibilities:
- Assist in actual implementation of events
- Assist other marketing staff for their initiatives and or events upon request
Other Support Duties:
- Participates and/or assist in company functions and programs
- Respects and ensures all assets of the company are in good working condition
- Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and safety within the working environment
Qualifications:
- At least 2-4 years experience as an SEO Specialist
- In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, and technical SEO elements
- Good understanding of technical SEO and content marketing best practices
- Ability to analyze data trends and draw insights to refine and enhance SEO strategies
- In-depth keyword research and mapping
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player, can handle multiple deadlines and tasks, can perform under tight deadlines
- Constantly keeps being updated on industry best practices, new trends, technology, and innovation
- Proficiency in SEO tools and software (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics,
- Google Search Console, etc.).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
