ITG celebrated a milestone with our event in Laguna on September 16, 2024, held at the Laguna Technopark Multipurpose Pavilion. In collaboration with Laguna Technopark and our solution partner, Manage Engine, ITG experts offered valuable insights into the latest technology trends in IT Management.

The session was attended by Laguna Technopark Association Incorporated (LTAI) members and professionals from the IT department. It was opened with a warm welcome from Ana Molano, General Manager of the Laguna Technopark Association.

Following the welcome note, ITG’s Managing Director for PH, Jose Adolfo Cornelio Jr., delivered the keynote address on “Digital Transformation Failures in Businesses.”

Cornelio highlighted several factors contributing to failed digital transformations, such as a lack of clear vision or roadmap, cultural resistance, poor execution and leadership, inadequate training, and overinvestment without ROI. He also emphasized the critical role of automation and augmentation in building a competitive business.

Meanwhile, ITG’s Practice Head for IT Management, Rommel Bernabe, briefly introduced the partnership between ITG and ManageEngine. He also gave an overview of the entire ManageEngine suite, highlighting the benefits of each module for businesses.

Data-Driven Excellence: Harnessing Analytics and Simplifying Endpoint Management with Analytics Plus and Endpoint Central

In a deep dive session on ManageEngine solutions, ITG’s technical experts shared insights covering ITSM, Active Directory (AD) modules, and Analytics.

Joyce Tabigue, Senior Technical Account Manager, opened the session with a concise and informative discussion on Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She highlighted how interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data drive the next wave of digitalization in the manufacturing sector. Joyce also addressed the common challenges in operations and explained why many manufacturing businesses are not yet fully prepared to embrace these advancements.

The session emphasized the importance of investing in the right technology, with ManageEngine Analytics Plus as a forefront tool to deliver real-time data and support the shift toward Industry 4.0.

Elevating IT Operations: Revolutionizing Service Management and Network Performance with ServiceDesk Plus and OpManager Plus

Gener Jimenez

In the following session, Gener Jimenez provided a concise overview of the ITSM suite, focusing on ServiceDesk Plus. He emphasized the various business advantages of using a unified helpdesk platform to drive operational excellence.

Additionally, in his subsequent session, Jimenez introduced the audience to a single tool designed for comprehensive network monitoring.

Securing IT Frontiers: Enhancing Security and Identity Management with Log360 and ADManager Plus

Michael Ernest Sanchez

On the other hand,  Michael Ernest Sanchez focused on security within the Active Directory track in his dedicated session. He highlighted key challenges in Active Directory management, such as the lack of automation in user provisioning and deprovisioning and the manual process of generating reports. Michael also emphasized the critical role of logs in maintaining and enhancing security.

Toward the end of his presentation, he shared best practices for SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and highlighted the advantages of integrating AD Manager Plus into an IT ecosystem.

The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where the audience posed insightful questions about the features and benefits of the solutions, specifically addressing how they could meet their unique business requirements.
